COVID-19 Services
Throughout the COVID 19 pandemic New Dawn Center worked hard to find solutions to bridge gaps in services. New Dawn Center utilized staff in a case management role to help clients get the necessary physical, psychological, legal, educational, and vocational services necessary for clients to be successful. New Dawn encouraged the use of video conferencing or telehealth for clients needing these services and provided the technology to make it possible.

These services included but were not limited to:
Coordinating appointments with Department of Labor programs
Resume building
Assisted registration for School and/or GED programs
Court attendance
Coordinating video conferencing appointments with probation, parole, etc.
Medical appointments via telehealth
Mental Health appointments via telehealth
Coordinating visitation via video conference with DSS
MAT programming via telehealth
Housing/relocation assistance
Family counseling
Online DMV license renewal
Assistance with Re-employment application process
Online social security card applications
Online birth certificate applications
Coordinating job interviews via zoom
Encouraged video conferencing for social interaction while visitors were not allowed
New Dawn also offered on site mental health services with a licensed professional for those that felt they needed extra services. New Dawn also offered additional individual counseling services for those who had increased triggers from isolation.
